Linda Fernandez

Linda is a Philadelphia based artist and art educator. She has spent time living in
Barcelona, Spain studying contemporary art and later lived in Nicaragua and Guatemala where she painted murals and created art with children from impoverished neighborhoods.

Over the past 5 years she has worked for several non-profits using art as a tool for social change by serving at-risk youth with outreach art programs. Her inspiration comes from spur of the moment thought and dreams. Most of the work can be seen as reactions to relevant issues or questions about life and society.
